This year, joining Minted has marked a significant milestone in my creative journey. Life often presents pivotal moments that shape your path, and this opportunity highlights how passion and persistence open doors. Every decision—big or small—has contributed to this exciting new venture.
Balancing Motherhood and Creativity
Motherhood transformed how I approach decision-making and risks. Before my daughter, I embraced every challenge in business and life without hesitation. However, after her arrival, my focus shifted, requiring a balance between my ambitions and the responsibilities of family life. Navigating this dynamic has brought growth and a deeper understanding of priorities.
Trusting Intuition and Embracing Change
I’ve come to trust my intuition, believing that even challenges offer hidden opportunities. During the pandemic, business and mindset coaching reshaped my perspective. Therefore, I established stronger boundaries and began pursuing what truly matters. Simplifying my life has created space to enjoy each moment while staying connected to my passions.
Evolving as a Designer
Over the years, I’ve embraced opportunities that align with my heart. Custom wedding invitations remain a core part of my work, reflecting years of dedication and skill. Consequently, these projects have created a foundation for exploring new creative outlets.
Expanding Through New Ventures
A year and a half ago, I expanded into Etsy, offering custom designs and new product lines. Designing for HGTV’s Property Brothers sparked further exploration of creative possibilities. These experiences, therefore, encouraged me to diversify and focus on new artistic endeavors.
I also opened a shop on Creative Market, providing mockup photo bundles for designers to use in showcasing their stationery work. Furthermore, these resources have helped others present their designs professionally and effectively.
Exciting Opportunities with Minted
February marked a milestone with Minted’s direct-from-seller program. This initiative invites hand-picked designers to open exclusive shops featuring wedding invitation accessories. I’m thrilled to announce that my shop on Minted is live! Over the coming months, I’ll introduce vellum wraps, vow books, envelope liners, wax seals, and entirely new product categories.
This platform reflects years of hard work, passion, and creativity. It also allows me to share my designs with a wider audience while exploring fresh opportunities.
